The Barcaça da Piedade lies upside down on a sandy bottom, between 38 and 42 m. Divers can penetrate inside the vessel.
The Barcaça da Piedade is a recognized dive site resting at 42.00 m in the waters of Ponta da Piedade. This barge, several tens of meters long, sank on an undetermined date. Today having become an artificial reef, it offers a dive combining history and exceptional marine biodiversity.
