Barracuda

The great barracuda, with its silver and streamlined silhouette and sharp gaze, is one of the most photogenic predators of tropical reefs. It sometimes forms spectacular schools of several hundred individuals — a tornado of barracuda — particularly in the Red Sea and the Maldives. Curious but not dangerous for divers, it sometimes approaches within a few centimeters, creating exceptional photographic opportunities during DUNE cruises.
