Embark on a diving adventure in Menorca, among limestone cliffs, marine caves, and crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.
Created in 1999, the northern Minorca marine reserve protects 5,119 hectares between Fornells Bay and Cape Gros. In this area where fishing is prohibited or strictly regulated, wildlife has developed over more than twenty-five years and it's visible underwater.
The seafloor exceeds 30 meters at a short distance from shore, with often generous visibility and remarkable habitat diversity—rocky drop-offs, Posidonia seagrass meadows of Sa Nitja, Cystoseira algae and rugged terrain shelter more than 600 recorded species. Barracudas, groupers, greater amberjacks, moray eels, dusky groupers, octopuses and mullets populate these benthic landscapes of rare richness in the Mediterranean.
The dive center, located in the heart of the reserve in Fornells Bay, allows reaching dive sites in less than fifteen minutes. Each dive is guided by an instructor who adapts the briefing to currents and site conditions for an immersion that is both safe and intense.
