The Rosalie Moller is a technical diving wreck located not far from the famous Thistlegorm. This British coal-carrying cargo ship rests at 40 to 55 meters depth, reserving this dive for very experienced divers and technical divers. The wreck is remarkably well preserved, with its masts, loading cranes and holds still intact. Pelagic fauna is impressive at these depths. Grey sharks, giant groupers and schools of tuna regularly visit this little-frequented wreck.
The SS Rosalie Moller was a British coal-carrying cargo ship of 3,500 tons, sunk on October 7, 1941 by German bombers, just like the Thistlegorm which was sunk the day before. It was carrying 3,000 tons of coal intended to fuel Allied ships in the Mediterranean. Despite the rescue of most crew members, several men died in the attack. The wreck remained relatively unknown until the 1990s, which explains its excellent preservation compared to its more famous neighbor.
