Leopard Shark

This shark, with dark patterns resembling a leopard on a gray background, is common in temperate coastal waters. In the eastern Pacific, it forms seasonal aggregations in shallow bays. In the Indian and Pacific Oceans, the term 'tiger shark' is sometimes used to refer to the adult striped shark.
