Napoleon parrotfish

The Napoleon fish — recognizable by its prominent forehead hump and thick lips — is one of the largest barrier reef fish in the world, reaching up to 2.30 meters and 190 kg. A protected species listed on the IUCN Red List, it is particularly present in the Red Sea, the Maldives, Komodo, and Raja Ampat. Its curious gaze and imposing size make it one of the most photogenic animals of tropical reefs, often photographed during DUNE dives.
