Wobbegong

The wobbegong - or carpet shark - is a bottom shark perfectly camouflaged on coral and rocky substrates. Inactive during the day, it remains motionless on the bottom, its dermal appendages perfectly mimicking the coral relief. It is mainly found in Indonesia and Australia. In Raja Ampat and Komodo, night dives with DUNE offer the best opportunity to observe these masters of camouflage during hunting, an experience particularly appreciated by underwater photographers.
